New plugin tool for Estimator! “Takeoff_Length”

We are excited to launch a new plugin, the first in a series of tools, called “Takeoff_Length“.  This new plugin, available on our store (FREE at this time for Estimator users and only $25 for non-users), allows users to obtain total lengths for ANYTHING in their models.  Users choose from “Collections” (like gutters, roof ridges, hips, valleys, eaves, trim, walls, etc.).  It comes pre-loaded with dozens of Collections but you can easily edit and fully customize these collections.  These total lengths are stored as groups on auto-assigned Layers, and can be read in Estimator to perform material takeoffs and cost assignments.  This tool works great for those working in 2D – imagine tracing walls on a floor plan and then having Estimator display the total plates, studs, sheathing, drywall, insulation, etc. from that simple action!  Check it out today!
