This video shows how a 3D Roof model can be created with SketchUp using imported 2D drawings (elevations and roof plan) typical builders receive digitally.  These drawings can be imported into SketchUp (as DWG or JPG files).  No tools other than simple SketchUp tools and basic skills needed.  We then show you how to generate a take-off and complete cost estimate using Estimator for SketchUp.
