Is there a shortcut to adding the internal and external linning, i.e, if you frame a house just with the studs, no linings, can you turn them all on and off together

How do you allocate cost to the framing tool? or do you need to do it each time you use the tools from model to model?

    John,
Is this the correct way to look at the measure from the Framing Tool

Components = the actual hardware you are purchasing
Layers = the overall measure of the assembly i.e wall_Stud_35x90_2500 is the overall description of all the walls at this height

Can you change the layer description, in the example above it would be more appropriate to have the layer named, wall_Framing_2500H and the measure in LM to be able to put a rate against the frame install for the carpenters

When you are cost coding and adding descriptions to the timber in the framing tool, which is it best to use the Components, layers or material?
They all seem to give you different units of measure, but you only want to put on into the BOQ

Window tool, the head is positioned just above the top sill, can you adjust this so the head sits under the top plates. It would help to be more accurate if you have high walls, for example, 3600mm and a window joinery height of 2100mm. Technically the head would be under the plates.

    Hi John,

With the lumber tool, can you adjust the timber, ie. lengthen or shorten once in place?
