Sorting Reports

I have a custom cost code list that I’d like to use. I want the codes to be placed in one of three categories. However, the codes I use are SKU numbers from a catalog and don’t follow sequential order. So when I created the report it seem to get sorted by code and create multiple categories.

Is there a way to sort the report by category and then within each category sort by code?
