Save Component Options for new File…

Hey there,

i m test estimator trial.

i have a lot of my own components, that i m using in several projects.
Example:

In my first Testfile 001.skp i build in a component called XX2.
To Component XX2 i add a description and an unit rate…. and save Changes.

So far so good.

But when i wanna go to the next project.
Testfile 002.skp and i fill in the same component XX2….
the description / unit rate and everything is EMPTY

I have to fill all dates of this component again!?
Is this normal?

Oh man….

i have to save the component with estimator description in my component folder.
forget about the question.

But here my next.

The Cost Code creates the “Category” ?
I can write in my own “Category” ?

Hope you worked it out.

You can edit the Cost Codes CSV file to customize the Code (number to sort by, like 1000), Title (ie “Survey”), and Cateogory (ie “Sitework”). Estimator will sort by the code number, display the title next to it and sub-total in the report by Category.
